Tracking a child's progress (Better Start replacement)
Please use the section which can be accessed by clicking here (you may need to log in again) to submit EYFS child level progress data for children listed at your setting.
Click on the Search button at the bottom of the online forms screen to view a list of children for whom you need to submit an assessment - the list contains either current 2 year olds, or 3 and 4 year olds who were previously eligible for 2 year old funding.
Using the Select & Submit Form option on the right hand side of a listed child, choose EYFS child level progress data submission - EYFS/Progress?1 from the drop down menu, then click Add, then Start when prompted.
Enter Setting name, date of assessment, and the score in each of the 5 EYFS areas listed, and submit.
(Scores used: 1 - Emerging, 2 - Expected, 0 - Unable to assess.)
Repeat process above for each child on the list.

Parents who have signed a parent declaration form have given consent to submit this information to NCC.
